Hi, I’m Gee

I completed my Professional Pet Groomer Diploma (Pets Beautiful Canine School of Professional Grooming) in Ontario when I was living in Canada with my husband and my young twin boys. Recently, I got the Certificate in Dog Behaviour and Training (Precise Training, NDTF) in Australia.
My primary background is in animal sciences (bachelor’s degree and master’s degree) and I spent several years working in laboratories in the animal health industry. Then, after Covid pandemic hit us with its consequent lock downs and travel restrictions, I felt the desire to be more around living beings: people and dogs!
So, the combination of my knowledge in animal biology, additional qualifications in dog grooming and behaviour training as well as my love for animals, was the perfect recipe to get my working start in professional dog grooming in 2021.
Since then, it has been a pleasure to take care of numerous pets other than mine. In our current society so many of us rely on the benefits of a dog companion. Today, after the pandemic, more people realised how enjoyable is having a furry family member. This fact reassured me that a dog grooming salon has its genuine value in the society.
My services include new, clean and modern equipment with high quality shampoos and conditioners, together with gentle grooming techniques, positive reinforcement, some lullabies in Portuguese and patience, always. Everything to promote a relaxing environment and nice experience to your dog.
